Καλώδιο δικτύου Alcasa Cat6 S/FTP 1m

The Networking Cable Alcasa Cat6 S/FTP 1m from Good Connections is a 1 metre Cat6 patch cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating. Designed for structured cabling and short-distance network links, the grey cable supports reliable data transmission at Gigabit Ethernet speeds and helps reduce electromagnetic interference thanks to its screened foil and braided shielding.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines individual foil shielding around each twisted pair with an overall braided shield to provide improved protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance. The 1 m length offers tidy connections between devices in racks, desks, and patch panels without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and patch panels within home or office networks
• Short horizontal runs in structured cabling and equipment cabinets
• Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed LAN applications
• Environments where reduced interference is required (near power cables or electronic equipment)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (foil around each pair + braided overall shield)
• Length: 1 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a device and the other plug to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance keep the cable unbent with a gentle radius and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Use cable management features such as clips or Velcro ties to maintain tidy routing and prevent stress on connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short interconnects and within shielded installations. Maintain bend radii larger than the cable diameter and avoid sharp kinks. When installing multiple cables, separate low-voltage network cables from mains wiring and secure connectors in appropriate ports to prevent damage.
