The Tecline Networking Cable Connect 854405 25m Cat6 F/UTP Black is a 25-metre Category 6 patch cable with foil-over-pair shielding (F/UTP) designed to provide reliable wired Ethernet connections. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable supports high-speed data transmission suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and typical home or office networking setups. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance for visible installations or behind-equipment routing.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding helps reduce electromagnetic interference from nearby cables and devices, improving signal integrity over the full 25 m length. The Cat6 specification ensures performance up to 250 MHz, supporting Gigabit Ethernet speeds and stable data transfer. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide plug-and-play convenience and consistent contact quality. A 25 m length covers medium-range runs without additional patching, and the black outer sheath resists visible dirt and blends into most environments.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks or sharp edges; maintain minimum bend radius to preserve performance. For installations near potential interference sources, use the cable’s shielding orientation consistently and avoid running it in parallel with strong power lines where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test the connection at both ends after installation and avoid exceeding the 25 m length for a single horizontal run if additional patching or patch panels are not used. When deploying multiple cables, label each end to simplify maintenance and replace any cable showing visible damage or degraded connectivity.
