Ταινία στεγανοποίησης Televes MDB4260 μαύρη

The Televes MDB4260 Black sealing tape is designed for sealing metal and PVC surfaces where a durable, weather-resistant bond is required. This black adhesive tape provides a continuous barrier against moisture and contaminants, helping to extend the service life of joints and connections in installation and maintenance tasks. Its formulation balances conformability and tack to allow neat application on irregular and flat surfaces.

Advantages

This sealing tape offers strong adhesion to metal and PVC substrates and remains flexible after application to accommodate thermal expansion and minor movement. Its black color provides a discreet finish on visible joints and fittings. The material resists moisture and provides a protective layer that reduces the risk of corrosion and ingress of dirt and water.

How to use

Prepare surfaces by cleaning them of dust, oil and loose particles to ensure optimal adhesion. Cut or tear the required length of tape, align it over the joint or area to be sealed, and press firmly with hand pressure or a roller to remove trapped air and ensure full contact. Overlap adjacent runs by a suitable margin to maintain continuity of the seal. For best results, apply at moderate temperatures and allow the adhesive to set before exposing the area to heavy moisture or mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term installations requiring mechanical strength or where chemical exposure is expected, consider combining the tape with appropriate mechanical fasteners or sealants. Follow local codes and manufacturer packaging instructions for specific environmental limits and safety information.
