Διακόπτης Televes MS58C 5x8 με Nevo recpower kask

Televes MS58C is a 5x8 multiswitch engineered for distribution of satellite and terrestrial broadcast signals to multiple receivers. The unit accepts five inputs (quad LNB or combined satellite/terrestrial inputs) and provides eight independent outputs, enabling reliable signal sharing across small to medium-sized installations. Integrated compatibility with Nevo recpower kask allows centralized cascade power management for connected amplifiers and powered devices, simplifying system topology in multi-dwelling units and light commercial environments.

Advantages

The Televes MS58C combines compact design with stable signal routing, offering consistent output levels and low interference between ports. Native support for Nevo recpower kask cascade power control reduces the need for separate power supplies and enables coordinated powering of downstream devices. The 5x8 configuration balances port density and signal integrity, making the module suitable where multiple receivers require satellite and terrestrial reception from a shared antenna system.

Suitable for

• Small apartment buildings and multi-dwelling installations
• Hotel rooms, hostels and guest houses with multiple receivers
• Light commercial premises requiring central satellite/terrestrial distribution
• Systems that need cascade power management for masthead amplifiers or inline active components

Key specifications

• Input configuration: five inputs supporting satellite and terrestrial feeds
• Output channels: eight independent outputs for receivers
• Power management: compatible with cascade power control (Nevo recpower kask)
• Signal types: DVB-S/DVB-S2 satellite and terrestrial/FTA signals
• Form factor: compact wall- or rack-mountable unit suitable for installation closets
• Impedance: standard 75 Ω RF connections

How to use

Install the Televes MS58C in a sheltered installation point such as an equipment cabinet or distribution box. Connect the antenna or LNB feeds to the five input connectors according to the signal plan, ensuring correct polarization and band assignments for each satellite input where applicable. Route the eight output coaxial lines to each receiver location, maintaining good cable quality and correct impedance. Integrate Nevo recpower kask-compatible devices into the cascade chain and configure power management according to system requirements to allow centralized powering of amplifiers or active splitters.

Recommendations

Use quality low-loss coaxial cable and properly rated connectors to maintain signal integrity. Verify line levels after installation and, if necessary, apply additional amplification or attenuation to equalize outputs. When implementing cascade power management, ensure connected devices are compatible with Nevo recpower kask and that power budgets are observed to avoid overloads.
