Cable pulling tape c.k tools 495056 — 30 m length, 6 mm diameter is a slim, flexible installation aid designed for threading cables through conduits, ducts and confined spaces. The 30 metre length allows access across typical residential and commercial runs, while the 6 mm diameter keeps the profile small for narrow conduits and openings. The tape is intended for use by electricians and installers where controlled cable routing and reduced snags are required.

Advantages

The tape combines a long reach with a narrow cross-section that reduces resistance when pulling through tight routes. Its flexibility enables smooth navigation around bends and through conduits while maintaining sufficient stiffness to feed through ducts. Designed for repeated use, the material resists kinking and provides consistent performance during longer pulls. The compact diameter also makes it compatible with many standard conduit sizes and wall penetrations.

How to use

Feed the tape end through the conduit or opening until it exits at the destination point. Attach the cable securely to the tape using an appropriate connector or tape wrap to ensure a smooth transition and minimize snagging. Pull the tape back through the run at a steady pace, keeping tension moderate to avoid overstressing the tape or the attached cable. For longer or more complex routes, guide the tape around bends and obstacles, and inspect the route for sharp edges before pulling.

Recommendations

Inspect the tape for damage before each use and replace if frayed or excessively worn. Use a suitable end fitting when attaching cables to prevent catching. For long runs or multiple cables, consider using successive pulls or intermediate guides to reduce friction. Store the tape coiled in a dry place to preserve flexibility and prevent kinks.
