Cable pulling band c.k tools 495055 — length 50 m, diameter 5.5 mm is a flexible, long-length pulling tape intended for installing and routing cables through ducts, conduits and other confined routes. With a 50 m length and 5.5 mm diameter, the band allows technicians to pull single or multiple cables across medium to long distances, improving reach in walls, ceilings and underground conduits. The construction balances flexibility for navigating bends with sufficient stiffness to push and pull cable loads without kinking.

Advantages

The cable pulling band combines extended length with a slim profile, enabling access to remote or hard-to-reach pathways while occupying minimal conduit space. Its diameter and material provide ease of handling, reduced friction, and resistance to twisting during feed and retrieval. Designed for repeated use, the band offers consistent performance for multiple installations and reduces the need for temporary joints or additional intermediate pull equipment.

How to use

Feed the band through the conduit or duct until it reaches the target location, then attach the cable bundle securely to the end of the band using an appropriate connector or swivel eye to minimise twisting. Maintain steady tension while pulling the band back through the route, using a lubricant if necessary to reduce friction in long or tight runs. Inspect the band for damage before each use and replace if any significant wear or cuts are present.

Recommendations

Use the cable pulling band with compatible connectors and, where applicable, a swivel to prevent cable twist. For long or congested ducts, apply a suitable cable lubricant and avoid excessive force; use intermediate pull points if required to reduce load. Store the band coiled in a dry place away from sharp edges and chemicals to maintain flexibility and service life.
