This KNX presence detector stands apart with its 360° detection and four independent output channels, enabling simultaneous control of lighting, HVAC, and presence-based automation from a single flush-mounted unit. The IR Quattro KNX is built for ceiling installation in offices, meeting rooms, and corridors, where precise presence detection and constant light control are essential.

Highlights

• 360° passive infrared detection with 64 m² radial presence coverage
• Four output channels: Light 1, Light 2, HVAC, and Presence
• Integrated light sensor (10–1000 lux) for constant light control
• KNX bus powered – no separate power supply needed
• Flush-mounted ceiling design with UV-resistant white housing

In daily use

The detector is configured via ETS and can be fine-tuned with an optional IR remote. Four detection levels and 1760 switching zones allow granular adjustment to room geometry and furniture. Time settings from 30 seconds to 18 minutes, a basic light function, manual override, and teach-in capability make it adaptable to changing room usage. HVAC control is integrated, so the same sensor can manage heating, ventilation, and air conditioning based on presence.
