Καλώδιο FireWire Tecline 39805 5 m 6 ακίδων 9 ακίδων μαύρο

The Tecline 39805 FireWire cable by ShiverPeaks is a 5-meter, black data cable that connects devices with a 6-pin FireWire port to devices with a 9-pin FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) port. Designed for high-speed data transfer, this cable provides a single reliable link for external hard drives, audio interfaces, video cameras and other FireWire-compatible equipment. Its length and connector combination support flexible placement of devices while maintaining a stable connection for sustained transfers.

Advantages

The cable supports FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) signaling for faster throughput compared with older FireWire standards, and the 6-pin to 9-pin configuration allows connection between legacy equipment and newer FireWire 800 ports. Its 5 m length allows greater distance between connected devices without the need for repeaters, while the black finish provides a neutral, professional appearance. The cable is supplied as a single unit, convenient for individual installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting external FireWire 800 hard drives to computers or docking stations
• Linking audio interfaces and digital mixers using FireWire ports
• Transferring video from camcorders and video capture devices with FireWire interfaces
• Integrating legacy 6-pin FireWire devices with 9-pin FireWire 800 equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 meters
• Connector types: 6-pin to 9-pin (FireWire 6P to 9P)
• Standard: IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800) compatible signaling
• Color: Black
• Pack quantity: 1 piece

How to use

Connect the 6-pin plug to the legacy FireWire device and the 9-pin plug to the FireWire 800 port on the host device. Ensure both devices are powered off when inserting or removing the cable to avoid potential power-related issues. After connection, power on the devices and confirm the host recognizes the peripheral; follow operating system prompts to mount drives or initialize equipment as required. For sustained high-speed transfers, avoid tightly coiling the cable or placing it near strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the cable for direct device-to-device connections up to the specified length and avoid daisy-chaining multiple cables. If you require longer runs or repeaters, choose active FireWire extenders compliant with IEEE 1394b. Store the cable loosely coiled and protected from sharp bends to maintain connector and conductor integrity.
