Καλώδιο FireWire 400 σε 800 InLine 36901 1m αρσενικό/αρσενικό μαύρο

Adapter cable for connecting FireWire IEEE 1394a (FireWire 400) devices with a 6‑pin connector to a FireWire controller with an IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800) 9‑pin connector. The InLine 36901 cable is 1 m long, black, and provides a direct male‑to‑male connection for data transfer between compatible FireWire devices. FireWire 800 controllers are downward compatible, so this cable enables FireWire 400 devices to connect to FireWire 800 ports.

Advantages

The InLine FireWire 400 to 800 cable offers reliable, high‑speed connectivity with a compact male/male 6‑to‑9 pin configuration and a standard 1 m length. Its black jacket provides a durable outer layer suitable for typical home and studio use. The cable is compatible with devices using IEEE 1394a and IEEE 1394b standards, allowing straightforward interoperability between FireWire 400 peripherals and FireWire 800 controllers.

Suitable for

• Connecting FireWire 400 (6‑pin) camcorders or external drives to FireWire 800 (9‑pin) ports
• Data transfer between legacy FireWire 400 devices and newer FireWire 800 controllers
• Audio and video setups in home studios or AV installations that require FireWire connectivity

Key specifications

• Connector configuration: 6‑pin (IEEE 1394a) to 9‑pin (IEEE 1394b) male/male
• Cable length: 1 m
• Color: Black
• Brand: InLine, model: 36901
• Compatible standards: IEEE 1394a (FireWire 400) and IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800)

How to use

Plug the 6‑pin male connector into the FireWire 400 device and the 9‑pin male connector into the FireWire 800 controller port. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid data errors. After connection, power on the devices and confirm that the host system recognizes the peripheral; install any required drivers if prompted by the operating system.

Recommendations

Use the cable for direct device-to-host connections and avoid excessive bending near the connectors. For sustained high‑speed transfers, ensure good contact at both ends and keep cable length to the minimum required; longer or damaged cables can reduce transfer reliability.
