Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 2 m πράσινο

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 2 m Green is a high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for demanding network environments. Built to Cat 7 specifications with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable provides reliable high-speed data transmission with reduced electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance, while the 2 m length offers practical reach for typical home and office setups. The green jacket makes cable identification simple in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

Shielding on both the overall cable and individual pairs lowers crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. The Cat 7 design supports higher frequency performance than earlier categories, enabling faster data rates and more stable connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs contribute to long-term connector reliability and stable contact resistance. A flexible yet robust outer jacket resists wear from regular handling and routing.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired LAN connections between switches, routers and networked devices
• Home and small office networks requiring stable gigabit or multi-gigabit performance
• Patch panel and rack-mounted installations where color-coding simplifies cable management
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 (shielded twisted pair)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid with individually foiled pairs
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Length: 2 meters
• Cable color: Green
• Conductor material: Copper (solid or stranded conductors depending on manufactured variant)
• Designed frequency range: up to Cat 7 standard frequencies

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or network interface and the other into the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For rack or patch-panel setups, route the cable gently to avoid sharp bends; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for shielded network cables. Verify link status on connected equipment to confirm proper negotiation of speed and duplex settings.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable or running it parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. Use the green color as part of a consistent cable identification scheme. When connecting to unshielded equipment, ensure proper grounding of the network chassis to benefit from the shielded construction.
