Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik RJ45 (X) S/FTP Cat5e κόκκινο 2 m

Networking Cable EFB Elektronik RJ45 (X) S/FTP Cat5e Red 2 m is a 2-meter, halogen-free Ethernet cable with SF/UTP (S/FTP) construction. The cable is double-shielded using foil and braid, fitted with red RJ45 connectors and red RJ45 boots, and uses two Hirose TM11 connectors. It conforms to Cat5e performance for reliable data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The double shielding (foil and braid) together with SF/UTP design reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal stability. Halogen-free materials lower smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire. The 2 m length and colored (red) jacket make the cable easy to route and identify in patch panels and network installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices (PCs, switches, routers) within offices and homes
• Patch panels and structured cabling where Cat5e performance is sufficient
• Environments requiring reduced interference and clear cable identification

Key specifications

• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• Model / MPN: K2793.2
• EAN: 4049759011215
• Type: S/FTP (SF/UTP) Cat5e cable
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ45 (red) with red boot; 2 x Hirose TM11
• Shielding: foil + braid (double shielded)
• Halogen-free: yes

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (PC, switch, router or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the 2 m cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain separation from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. For patch panels, use the red boots to guide the cable and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat5e cable for short runs up to 2 m where Cat5e performance is required; choose higher-category cables (Cat6/Cat6a) if higher bandwidth or future-proofing is needed. Inspect connectors before use and avoid sharp bends or crushing to preserve shield integrity and signal quality.
