Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP 20m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP 20m is a 20-metre network patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable wired connectivity. Constructed to Cat 6 standards with S/FTP shielding, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable connections between routers, switches, network interfaces and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, and it comes in a green jacket suitable for visible or color-coded installations in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall screen with individually shielded pairs to limit signal degradation and external interference, which is beneficial in environments with multiple electronic devices or structured cabling. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and low contact resistance for sustained performance. With a 20 m length, the cable is long enough for typical office runs and flexible placement in residential setups while maintaining Cat 6 performance for gigabit Ethernet and many professional networking needs.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and NAS devices in home or office networks
• Structured cabling where reduced EMI and pair-to-pair crosstalk is required
• Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed LAN applications up to Cat 6 performance limits
• Color-coded network installations and cable management workflows

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 metres
• Jacket colour: green

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your devices (for example, router, switch, computer or NAS). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prolonged compression; maintain a gentle bend radius and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines where possible. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties at regular intervals to reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best results in demanding or interference-prone environments, keep cable runs as direct as possible and avoid coiling excess cable tightly. Verify that connected equipment supports Cat 6 or gigabit speeds to take full advantage of the cable's performance. When pairing with patch panels or keystone jacks, ensure those components are rated for Cat 6 to preserve overall link quality.
