Ewent 10.0m Cat6 UTP καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 10 m U/UTP (UTP)

The Ewent 10.0m Cat6 RJ-45 U/UTP networking cable is a 10-metre patch cable designed for wired Ethernet connections at speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. It uses Cat6 cabling technology compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and comes with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable has unshielded twisted pair construction with U/UTP designation and features gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability. Its neutral grey jacket makes it suitable for visible installations in home and office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports gigabit Ethernet performance and is backward compatible with Fast Ethernet. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts reduce corrosion and improve signal transfer at the connector interface. The 10 m length provides extended reach between network devices without the need for additional adapters or joins. The U/UTP structure ensures standard twisted-pair performance while the flexible outer jacket simplifies routing along desks, walls, and cable trays.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, and network switches in home and small office networks
• Linking routers to modems or wall outlets in wired broadband setups
• Establishing connections between network-enabled devices such as printers, NAS devices, and media players
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a 10 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Cabling category: Cat6
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Compatible network standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding type: U/UTP (unshielded overall, unshielded pairs)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports on your devices until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain signal integrity; a minimum bend radius corresponds to several times the cable diameter. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or close to sources of electrical interference. When connecting to switches, routers or network cards, verify link activity via device LEDs to confirm the physical connection.

Recommendations

For reliable gigabit performance, use this Cat6 cable in typical office and home environments and ensure connectors and ports are free of dust. If longer runs or additional protection against interference are required, consider shielded cabling or structured cabling alternatives. Store the cable coiled loosely to prevent permanent kinks.
