shiverpeaks BASIC-S Καλώδιο δικτύου 0,25 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 0.25 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable, high-speed Ethernet connections in compact setups. It uses Cat7 performance characteristics and S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually braided pairs) to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact and improved corrosion resistance, while the 0.25 m length is suited to tight rack, switch-to-device, or patch panel connections. The cable is finished in a distinctive blue jacket for easy identification in network environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction minimizes signal loss and protects transmitted data from external noise sources. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and durability for frequent plug cycles. The short 0.25 m length reduces excess cable clutter and helps maintain clean, organized installations. Cat7 design supports high bandwidth and is compatible with Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet deployments, offering future-proofing for performance-sensitive environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to access points or servers in rack cabinets
• Short patching between network ports and wall sockets
• High-density network cabinets and structured cabling closets
• Workstations, media players, and AV equipment where minimal cable length is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Conductor arrangement: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually braided pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Jacket color: Blue
• Typical supported speeds: Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet
• Physical form: Short patch/patchcord for in-cabinet use

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port until it clicks to establish a secure connection. Use the 0.25 m cable to connect nearby devices such as switches, patch panels, or servers where a short, direct link is required. Ensure connectors and ports are free of debris before insertion. For multi-cable installations, label or route cables to maintain clear pathways and avoid undue bending at the connector ends to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable and maintain proper bend radius as specified by standard Ethernet cabling practices. Use this short Cat7 S/FTP cable for intra-rack connections and where interference suppression is needed; pair with compliant network hardware to achieve expected data rates.
