Καλώδιο patch S/FTP Cat6 Dätwyler 21.05.0074 μπλε 7m

The Dätwyler S/FTP Patch Cable Cat6 Blue 7m is a shielded Ethernet cable engineered for stable network connections and reduced electromagnetic interference. Designed with foil and braided shielding around each twisted pair and an overall screen, the cable supports reliable data transmission for networks requiring Cat6 performance over a 7 meter run. The blue jacket provides clear visual identification within structured cabling or mixed-color setups.

Advantages

This S/FTP Cat6 cable offers improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, resulting in more consistent signal integrity. Its construction follows Cat6 specifications to deliver suitable bandwidth for gigabit Ethernet applications, and the 7 m length balances reach and minimal attenuation for typical office or residential layouts. The cable jacket is designed for flexibility and durability to withstand routing through cable channels and frequent reconfiguration.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between network devices
• Patch panels, switches and routers in small to medium installations
• Home offices and professional workstations requiring shielded cabling
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 7 m
• Color: Blue
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends (standard patch cable termination)
• Conductor: stranded copper for flexibility

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the target device such as a PC, NAS or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable away from heavy power lines and sources of interference where possible, and avoid tight bends that could stress the conductors. For installations requiring continuity of shielding, ensure both connected ports and patch panels are properly grounded.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its 7 m length without excessive coiling and keep it separated from mains wiring. Verify that connected equipment supports Cat6 or higher to exploit full bandwidth potential, and maintain proper grounding of shielded terminations in installations exposed to electrical noise.
