Προστατευτικό καλωδίου ACT TT4520 RJ45 γκρι για καλώδιο 6,5 mm

The ACT RJ45 grey boot is designed for 6.5 mm cables to provide mechanical protection and strain relief for RJ45 connectors in structured cabling and patching applications. Supplied in packs of 25 pieces, the boot fits over the connector and cable jacket to reduce bending stress at the termination point and to protect the clip from accidental damage. The product is CE and RoHS certified, meeting common safety and environmental requirements for network installation accessories.

Advantages

The grey cable boot reduces mechanical strain on the cable-connector junction and protects the connector latch from snagging. Its design helps maintain a neater cable appearance and prolongs the service life of terminations in patch panels, wall plates, and network devices. The boot is compatible with standard RJ45 plug bodies designed for cables with an overall diameter around 6.5 mm and is made from materials that meet relevant safety and environmental directives.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Patch panel and switch connections in offices and data closets
• Wall socket and outlet terminations in residential or commercial installations
• Portable network equipment and field cabling where connector protection is required
• Environments where strain relief reduces intermittent connection issues

Key specifications

• Colour: grey
• Intended cable outer diameter: approximately 6.5 mm
• Compatible connector type: RJ45 plug
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces
• Materials: durable polymer meeting CE and RoHS conformity

How to use

Slide the ACT boot over the cable before crimping the RJ45 plug so the boot can be positioned directly behind the connector after termination. After crimping, push the boot forward until it fully covers the plug body and cable jacket, ensuring the latch protection aligns with the clip area. The boot provides immediate strain relief and protection; no additional tools are required for installation.

Recommendations

For reliable results, verify the cable outer diameter is close to 6.5 mm before installation and ensure the boot is fully seated over the connector. Use the boots on cables and connectors that match standard RJ45 dimensions to avoid improper fit. Replace boots that show visible wear or deformation to maintain connection integrity.
