Προστατευτικό καλωδίου LOGILINK MP0005 για βύσματα RJ-45, γκρι

The LOGILINK MP0005 cable boot for RJ-45 connectors in grey is a protective sleeve designed to fit standard 8P8C (RJ-45) network plugs. It reduces strain on connector latches, provides abrasion resistance around the plug area and contributes to a neat, professional appearance for patch cables and permanent network installations. The accessory is intended for use with Ethernet cables in home, office and data-cabling environments and helps extend connector life while maintaining reliable connections.

Advantages

The grey cable boot decreases mechanical stress on the connector latch and cable exit point, lowering the risk of latch breakage and intermittent contacts. Its outer surface protects the plug shell from wear and abrasion caused by frequent plugging and unplugging, and the boot improves cable handling by smoothing the transition between cable jacket and connector. The neutral grey colour blends with common cable colours and network equipment, offering unobtrusive visual integration.

Key specifications

• Colour: grey
• Compatibility: for standard RJ-45 (8P8C) connectors
• Function: strain relief and abrasion protection for connector area
• Application: patch cords, field‑terminated cables and installed network cabling

How to use

Slide the LOGILINK MP0005 boot onto the cable before attaching the RJ-45 plug; position it so the narrow end faces the connector when crimping. After terminating the connector, push the boot forward until it fully covers the cable exit and the connector latch area. Ensure the boot sits flush with the plug and does not interfere with the latch operation. No additional tools are required beyond standard cable preparation and crimping tools.

Recommendations

For reliable results, check that the boot inner diameter matches the cable jacket thickness before installation and avoid overstretching the material. Use the boot on cables that follow standard RJ-45 wiring and crimping procedures; replace any boot that shows significant wear or damage to maintain connector protection.
