Insert the conductor pairs into the LSA slots following the module's color code and press into the LSA contacts to terminate without special tools. Snap the keystone module into the chosen keystone cutout of a patch panel, face plate or surface-mount box until it locks in place. Plug an RJ45 connector into the jack to establish the network connection.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable preparation tools to avoid damaging conductors, and verify continuity and performance with a cable tester after termination. For shielded installations, ensure the module’s shield is properly grounded through the mounting plate or patch panel.
