Microconnect V-UTP603S-schlank Καλώδιο δικτύου Μαύρο 3 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect V-UTP603S-SLIM RJ-45 Cat6 3 m Black is a slim Cat6 Ethernet cable designed for space‑constrained network installations. It supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and meets Cat6 testing up to 250 MHz. The cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 devices and comes with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its thin, flexible construction improves access in racks and cabinets and helps maintain better airflow.

Advantages

The slim design reduces cable bulk in IT racks and cabinets while preserving Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz. Flexibility facilitates easier routing and quicker connector handling, and the slimmer profile contributes to improved airflow which can lower the risk of equipment overheating. The cable includes a molded latch guard to protect the RJ-45 connector latch during tight installations.

Suitable for

• Wiring in cramped IT racks and server cabinets
• Desktop-to-switch connections in offices
• Patch panels and structured cabling installations
• Upgrading from Cat5/Cat5e to Cat6 performance in limited spaces

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router, or computer) and the other to the corresponding port. Route the cable through racks or cable management channels, taking advantage of its flexibility and slim profile to minimize space usage. Ensure the molded latch guard aligns with tight openings so the connector can be inserted without damaging the clip.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending near the connector and maintain proper cable management to preserve airflow in racks. Use this slim Cat6 cable where space savings and improved accessibility are priorities; for longer runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider appropriate cable types and shielding.
