Microconnect V-UTP603-FLAT Καλώδιο δικτύου Γκρι 3 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect V-UTP603-FLAT RJ-45 Cat6 3 m Grey is a flat Cat6 network cable designed for installations that require space-saving routing. With a 3 m length and U/UTP construction it supports high-speed data transfer and is compatible with RJ-45 ports. The flat profile makes it suitable for running behind skirting boards, under carpets or in narrow gaps inside IT racks and cabinets. The cable is tested to the Cat6 frequency of 250 MHz and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 systems.

Advantages

The flat design reduces bulk and simplifies routing in tight spaces while maintaining Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz. U/UTP shielding lowers susceptibility to external interference and the pre-fitted RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide straightforward plug-and-play connectivity. A molded strain-relief (snagless) at the connector protects the plug during installation through confined pathways.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network equipment in office and home environments
• Routing network connections behind skirting boards or under carpets
• Installing in crowded IT racks and cabinets where space is limited

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested to 250 MHz)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall foil)
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (manufacturer specification)
• Colour: Grey
• Weight: 0.05 kg

How to use

Route the cable along the desired path, keeping the flat side against surfaces to minimise profile height. Insert RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your devices until they click. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; use the molded strain-relief when pulling through tight channels to protect the connector. Ensure both ends are fully seated for reliable electrical contact.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. Keep bend radius gentle and do not exceed tensions during installation. For permanent in-wall installations check local regulations and consider using cables certified for in-wall use if required.
