Managed Switch TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE 10-Port Gigabit με 8-Port PoE+

TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE is an easy smart 10‑port gigabit switch with 9× RJ45 ports and 1× combo SFP/RJ45 port that requires no configuration. Eight of the RJ45 ports support PoE (Power over Ethernet) and automatically supply power to IEEE 802.3af/at compliant devices, enabling data and electrical power over a single cable for devices such as access points, IP cameras and IP phones. The switch features a durable metal casing and a fanless design for quiet operation and long service life.

Advantages

The TL-SG1210MPE offers 8 PoE+ ports with a total 123 W power budget, supporting up to 30 W per port for compatibility with a wide range of devices used in offices, small businesses and dormitories. It includes PoE auto recovery to detect and reboot unresponsive powered devices, ensuring stable operation without manual intervention. Intelligent power management prioritizes ports when total consumption exceeds the budget to prevent overload and protect connected equipment.

Key specifications

• Ports: 9× gigabit RJ45, 1× gigabit combo SFP/RJ45
• PoE ports: 8× IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE+)
• Total PoE budget: 123 W
• Max per-port PoE: up to 30 W
• Form factor: durable metal casing, fanless design
• Management: easy smart switch (no manual configuration required)

How to use

Install the TL-SG1210MPE on a stable surface or in a rack space that supports its dimensions. Connect network devices to the RJ45 or SFP port as required. For PoE devices, plug them into any of the eight PoE ports; the switch will automatically detect IEEE 802.3af/at devices and deliver the appropriate power over the Ethernet cable. No additional configuration is needed for basic operation. Monitor device status and allow the PoE auto recovery feature to reboot unresponsive powered devices automatically if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated, dust-free environment and avoid covering its casing to maintain passive cooling. Distribute PoE-powered devices across ports to balance power consumption, and reserve higher-priority ports for critical devices to ensure continued operation if total power exceeds the 123 W budget.
