Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0314.2 2m LC SC τυρκουάζ

The EFB Elektronik O0314.2 2m LC SC Turquoise is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed network connections. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC to SC connectors, this 2-metre cable supports full duplex transmission and is suitable for structured cabling in data centres, telecommunication rooms and campus networks. The turquoise jacket identifies it as OM3 multimode fibre, offering optimized performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other short-range high-bandwidth links.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low insertion loss and reliable optical performance typical for OM3 multimode construction. The LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other allow compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. The 2 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-panel connections, while the standardized connector types and colour-coded jacket simplify installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centres and server rooms
• Patch-panel to network switch connections
• Short-range multimode optical links within buildings and campuses
• Optical transceiver to fibre interface in networking equipment

Key specifications

• Optical fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 2 metres
• Connector types: LC connector to SC connector
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise (OM3 identification)

How to use

Route the cable avoiding tight bends and protected against sharp edges and excessive tension. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle and the SC connector into the SC adapter or port, ensuring connectors click into place. Confirm link status on connected equipment and perform an optical loss check if precise attenuation measurement is required. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damage to the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, maintain bend radii greater than the manufacturer’s minimum (typically multiple times the cable diameter), keep connectors clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and store unused connectors with protective caps. Use this OM3 cable for short to medium-length multimode applications where 10 Gigabit throughput or similar bandwidth is required.
