Lindy 7,5 m Cat.5e U/UTP καλώδιο δικτύου, γκρι

The Lindy 7.5m RJ-45 Cat5e Grey network cable is a straight-through U/UTP cable designed for Ethernet applications up to 1GBase-T. It supports operating frequencies up to 100 MHz and is manufactured and tested according to ISO/IEC 11801. The cable is supplied individually in a polybag and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for reliable data transfer and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides bandwidth support up to 100 MHz while maintaining compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet through carefully designed electrical parameters (NExT, FExT). Gold-plated contacts reduce the risk of corrosion and help ensure stable connections over time. The cable’s snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal, and the U/UTP unshielded design offers a balance of performance and flexibility for typical network environments.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and small office networks
• Connecting computers, switches and routers supporting 10/100/1000Base-T
• Network patching in server rooms and patch panels
• Temporary or permanent in‑room cabling runs up to 7.5 m

Key specifications

• Cable type: Straight-through U/UTP Cat.5e
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (1 Gbit/s)
• Operating frequency: up to 100 MHz
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Colour: Grey
• Standards: Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or PC) and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure the cable is not sharply bent or pinched and that the snagless strain relief is intact to protect the connector latch. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e U/UTP cable for standard Ethernet links up to 1 Gbit/s and distances within the 7.5 m length. For installations requiring additional protection from electromagnetic interference or longer permanent runs, consider shielded cable categories or higher-category cables (Cat6/6A) as appropriate.
