Lindy 48346 Καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 7,5 m Cat5e F/UTP (FTP)

The Lindy 48346 networking cable is a 7.5 m Cat5e cable with F/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for structured network connections, this grey cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet and provides stable physical connectivity between switches, routers, patch panels and end devices. Its Cat5e specification and shielded construction help maintain signal integrity in typical home and office installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat5e performance with F/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in mixed-cable environments. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable mating with standard Ethernet ports, while the 7.5 m length offers flexible placement without the need for additional patching. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible runs and rack installations, and the durable build supports repeated insertion cycles and everyday handling.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Standard: Cat5e
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil screened with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Route the Lindy Cat5e cable between devices, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until a click is felt. Avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the recommended bend radius to preserve cable performance. When installing in racks or along walls, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the jacket. Test the connection after installation using link/activity indicators on network equipment or a cable tester to verify continuity and speed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large electrical motors, fluorescent ballasts or unshielded power cables. Use shielded patch panels or connectors when grounding continuity of the foil screen is required in shielded installations.
