Lindy 47763 Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 1,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP 1.5m Yellow networking cable is a Category 6 Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and small office networks. It provides S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity across gigabit Ethernet links. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for consistent connectivity and corrosion resistance. Its 1.5 m length suits desk-to-wall or short rack-to-device installations, and the yellow jacket simplifies cable identification within multi-cable environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair and an overall shield helps minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable data transfer at 10/100/1000Base-T(X) speeds. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve conductivity and reduce contact oxidation over time. The Cat.6 specification delivers performance headroom compared with lower categories, and the bright yellow outer sheath provides easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers within home or office layouts
• Short patch runs between network equipment in racks or cabinets
• Environments that require reduced electromagnetic interference and clearer signal transmission

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Supported network standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall socket terminated for structured cabling. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to maintain a secure physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, and keep it separated from power cables when possible to minimise potential interference.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for short to medium runs up to its specified length and avoid repeating connectors or inline adapters which may degrade signal quality. When installing in environments with significant noise sources, maintain shield continuity by using compatible shielded RJ-45 ports or patch panels to preserve the effectiveness of the S/FTP construction.
