Lindy 47725 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 20 m Kat.6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 20m Blue is a Category 6 Ethernet patch cable designed for Gigabit networks and common structured cabling applications. With a 20 meter length and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference to help maintain stable high-speed data transfer. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance for reliable connection performance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair and an overall shield improves signal integrity in environments with potential EMI sources. The Cat.6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) operation, enabling Gigabit Ethernet throughput. The 20 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between networking equipment in racks and desks. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs offer better conductivity and long-term durability compared with unplated contacts.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Patch panel to switch connections in rack installations
• Wired Gigabit Ethernet for streaming, VoIP and online collaboration
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported protocols: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 20 m
• Color: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device (computer, switch, router or patch panel) and the other connector into the target device or port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed recommended bend radius to preserve internal pair geometry. For rack installations, allow enough slack for service access and secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in shielded installations, ensure both ends are connected to grounded equipment or properly grounded patch panels. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to reduce the risk of interference. Periodically check connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if performance degrades.
