Lindy 47721 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP 5m Blue networking cable provides a 5-meter connection designed for high-speed Ethernet networks. Built to Cat.6 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable supports Gigabit Ethernet data rates and reduces electromagnetic interference for stable signal transmission. Its blue jacket makes it easy to identify within structured cabling installations in homes and offices.

Advantages

This Cat.6 S/FTP cable combines full-pair foil shielding with an overall braid to limit crosstalk and external interference, improving connection reliability in environments with multiple devices or nearby electrical equipment. Gold-plated contacts enhance conductivity and resist corrosion for a longer service life. The 5 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical desk-to-router or patch panel connections, while the durable blue jacket resists wear from regular handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and networked printers within home and small office networks
• Patch panel to wall outlet or switch connections in structured cabling
• Deployments requiring Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) performance
• Environments where reduced interference is needed, such as near power lines or dense equipment racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 5 m length to link desktop computers, switches, routers or patch panels as required. When routing the cable, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve internal conductor integrity. For installations in equipment racks or cable trays, secure the cable with appropriate ties or clips without compressing the shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for Gigabit Ethernet connections and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power cables. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if shielding or jackets are visibly compromised.
