Lindy 47386 Καλώδιο δικτύου λευκό 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 5m White is a 5-metre network patch cable designed for wired Ethernet connections up to gigabit speeds. The cable uses Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to ensure stable contact and reduced interference. Its white jacket provides a discreet appearance for installations in offices, server rooms and home networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines overall foil shielding and individually shielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, improving signal integrity over the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for consistent performance. The 5 m length offers flexibility for common connection routes while maintaining the signal quality expected of Cat6 cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in office or home networks
• Patch panel to switch connections in small server racks
• Gigabit Ethernet links for data transfer and streaming
• Temporary installations or fixed runs where a 5 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatible
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards until a click confirms proper seating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For structured cabling, label both ends if required and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable for Ethernet links up to gigabit speeds in environments where reduced interference is required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for long distances, and keep within the 5 m length intended for short to medium runs. Inspect connector contacts periodically and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
