Lindy 47311 Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47311 Networking Cable RJ-45 Cat7 5 m in black is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Compliant with Cat7 performance, it integrates S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable signal integrity across a 5 metre run. Its black PVC jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for visible installations in home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around individual pairs and an overall shield helps minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving transmission consistency in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and stable contact for repeated plugging cycles. The 5 m length offers flexibility for typical desk-to-router or patch panel connections while the Cat7 specification supports high-frequency performance for demanding network applications.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Patch panel to switch cabling in network racks where short runs are needed
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Environments with multiple electronic devices where increased shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 7 (Cat7)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall shield)
• Cabling technology compatibility: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (for example a router, switch or network interface on a PC) and the other connector to the destination device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure mechanical and electrical contact. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and avoid running it parallel and close to power cables to reduce potential interference. For rack or wall installations, allow slight slack to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy Cat7 cable for short to medium horizontal runs where higher shielding and Cat7 performance are required. For optimal results in high-interference environments, maintain separation from mains wiring and follow recommended bend radius limits. Inspect connector seating after installation and replace the cable if physical damage to the jacket or connectors is observed.
