Lindy 46363 καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 5 m LC SC ροζ

The Lindy 46363 5 m LC SC Pink is an OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connector at one end and SC connector at the other. Designed for short- to medium-range high-speed data links, it has a 50 µm core diameter that supports increased bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The cable’s 5 metre length and distinctive pink jacket make it easy to route and identify in crowded racks and cabling infrastructures.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides high data throughput and low attenuation for multimode systems, helping to maintain signal integrity over the specified link length. The LC and SC connectors offer widespread compatibility with transceivers, switches and patch panels that accept these connector types. The coloured jacket simplifies cable identification and management in data centres and networking closets while the factory-terminated connectors ensure repeatable optical performance and reduced installation time.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre links in data centres and server rooms
• Interconnecting switches, patch panels and optical transceivers with LC and SC ports
• Structured cabling installations where colour-coded identification is required

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm multimode core
• Connectors: LC to SC duplex/ simplex compatibility depending on installed ends
• Length: 5 m
• Jacket colour: pink
• Typical use: optical patching and short-range data links

How to use

Connect the LC end to the corresponding LC port on the transceiver or patch panel and insert the SC end into the matching SC receptacle. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to avoid contamination-related attenuation; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable along existing cable management paths and avoid tight bends or crushing forces that could increase loss or damage the fibre. Verify link performance with optical test equipment after installation if required.

Recommendations

Use dust caps when connectors are not in use, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer’s minimum, and store spare lengths coiled without sharp folds. For critical links, perform insertion loss and return loss measurements to confirm compliance with system requirements.
