Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77950/3 10 m

The S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77950/3 10 m is an OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with LC and ST connectors, designed for full duplex data transmission. It has a 50 µm core diameter and a 10 metre length, offering a balance between reach and manageability in data centre, networking and InfiniBand environments. The cable's turquoise jacket provides visual identification in cable bundles and rack installations.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable supports high-speed multimode transmission and full duplex operation, reducing latency and supporting symmetrical data flows. The combination of LC and ST connectors allows interoperability with diverse equipment types and patch panels. The 50 µm core diameter is compliant with multimode standards for short- to medium-reach high-bandwidth links, while the 10 m length suits rack-to-rack or patching use without excessive slack. The coloured jacket simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand links and high-speed server interconnects
• Data centre patching between racks and switches
• Network equipment with LC and ST ports
• Testing and lab environments requiring multimode OM3 fibre

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connectors: LC on one end, ST on the other
• Operation: full duplex
• Length: 10 metres
• Jacket colour: turquoise

How to use

Route the 10 m fibre cable between the intended ports, ensuring connectors match the device interfaces (LC to LC-capable ports via LC connector, ST to ST-compatible ports via ST connector or appropriate adapter). Handle connectors by the boot or connector body and avoid touching the ferrule. Keep bends above the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode OM3 fibres, and secure the cable in cable trays or ties without compressing the jacket. For best performance, inspect and, if necessary, clean connector endfaces before insertion.
