Lindy 45987 Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 15 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable, 15 m length, designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and supporting Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The Lindy 45987 cable features a yellow LSZH jacket, gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP shielding (braid overall shield plus foil for each pair). It is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and packaged individually in a polybag.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with an overall braid and foil-wrapped pairs reduces interference and crosstalk for reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide corrosion resistance and stable signal transmission. The snagless connector design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket minimizes toxic and dense smoke in public or enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) networks
• AV extension and professional networking installations
• Structured cabling in offices, server rooms and public areas where low smoke emissions are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (yellow)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors click into place and the snagless strain relief prevents latch damage during insertion or removal. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive bending radius to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. Test the link speed and connectivity after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for runs up to 100 metres within structured cabling limits and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. In environments requiring fire-safe cables, prefer LSZH-sheathed cables like this product. If maximum throughput or future-proofing beyond 1 Gbit/s is needed, consider Cat.6A or higher categories.
