Lindy 45954 Καλώδιο δικτύου πράσινο 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP network cable, 5 m length, supporting bandwidths up to 250 MHz and data rates for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable has a braid overall shield and foil shield for each twisted pair (S/FTP) and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801. The Lindy 45954 features gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a halogen-free LSZH sheath; the cable is supplied individually in a polybag and comes in green.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides strong protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts reduce corrosion and ensure reliable long-term connectivity. The snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH (halogen-free) sheath reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public areas.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) connections
• AV extension and multimedia installations
• Structured cabling according to ISO/IEC 11801
• Public spaces and installations requiring low-smoke, halogen-free materials

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 1 Gbit/s (1GBase-T)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 connectors to compatible Ethernet ports on network devices such as switches, routers, computers or AV equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and areas with strong mechanical stress; use cable management accessories where appropriate. For shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of the shield at one or both ends according to site practices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit Ethernet links up to 5 m and in environments where EMI protection and low-smoke halogen-free materials are required. Do not subject the cable to excessive tensile force; avoid kinking and maintain bend radius recommendations of structured cabling standards.
