Καλώδιο S/FTP PiMF Cat.7 ROLINE 300m

ROLINE S/FTP PiMF Cable Cat.7 ROLINE 300m is a structured cabling cable designed for high-speed data transmission over local networks and backbone installations. The cable uses solid AWG23 copper conductors, individually shielded pairs with aluminium foil and an overall tinned copper braid, providing high immunity to electromagnetic interference. It is halogen-free, flame retardant and low smoke, supplied in a 300 meter roll and finished in grey.

Advantages

The S/FTP PiMF design with pair-wise foil shielding and a full tinned copper braid reduces crosstalk and external noise, supporting reliable high-frequency performance suitable for Category 7 requirements. Solid AWG23 copper conductors offer stable signal transmission and mechanical durability. Halogen-free, flame-retardant, low-smoke materials improve safety in enclosed spaces and help meet modern building cabling standards.

Suitable for

• Structured building cabling for offices and data centers
• High-speed Ethernet links and backbone connections
• Environments requiring low electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP PiMF (screened with pairwise foil + overall braid)
• Category: Cat.7
• Length: 300 m (roll)
• Conductor: 8 lines, solid copper wire, AWG23
• Impedance: 100 Ω
• Shielding: pairs shielded with aluminium foil; complete shielding in tinned copper braid
• Properties: Halogen-free, flame retardant, low smoke
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Unroll the 300 m cable and cut to required lengths for your installation. Terminate each conductor according to the chosen connector or patch panel specification compatible with Cat.7 and solid AWG23 conductors. Ensure the pair shielding and overall braid are properly bonded to grounding at the patch panel or cabinet to maintain shielding effectiveness. Follow local cabling standards for bend radius, separation from power lines, and secure fastening.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.7 S/FTP cable for backbone and horizontal runs where high immunity to interference is required. Maintain recommended bend radius (typically 4× cable diameter), avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, and terminate with components rated for Cat.7 to preserve category performance.
