Καλώδιο Patch ACT CAT6 S/FTP PVC Λιτή Κίτρινο 305 m

The ACT CAT6 S/FTP PVC Stranded Yellow 305 m patch cable is a bulk networking cable intended for structured cabling and patching in commercial and residential installations. With CAT6 performance and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduces electromagnetic interference. The stranded conductor construction and PVC jacket provide flexibility for routing through conduits and around bends while the yellow color aids visual identification in complex cable runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair and an overall foil/ braid combination improves immunity to crosstalk and external interference, which helps maintain stable network throughput. The stranded conductor design increases flexibility compared with solid cables, simplifying installation in patch panels, cable trays, and horizontal runs. The PVC outer jacket offers basic mechanical protection and ease of handling during installation. The 305 m spool length reduces the need for multiple joins or splices, offering continuous runs for longer distances.

Suitable for

• Horizontal and vertical network cable runs in offices and data closets
• Patching between switches, patch panels, and wall outlets
• Environments where color-coded cable identification is required
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations requiring flexible cable routing

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6 performance class suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — individually shielded pairs with overall foil and braid
• Conductor type: Stranded conductors for increased flexibility
• Jacket material: PVC outer sheath for mechanical protection
• Length: 305 meters on a single spool
• Colour: Yellow for visual identification

How to use

Measure the required run length and cut the cable from the spool, allowing extra length for terminations and routing. Strip the outer PVC jacket where connectors or patch ends will be fitted, taking care not to damage the braided shield or inner pair foil. Maintain pair integrity and follow T568A or T568B wiring standards when terminating with RJ45 plugs or patch panel keystone jacks. Ensure proper grounding of the cable shield at one end or according to local installation practices to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling tension during installation; follow manufacturer guidelines for minimum bend radius and maximum pull force. Separate from high-voltage power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. Use appropriate cable management components and proper shielding termination methods in patch panels and outlets to maintain the benefits of S/FTP construction.
