Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 7,5 m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a networking cable 7.5m provides a balanced combination of performance and protection for wired Ethernet connections. Designed for 10GBase-T applications, this magenta cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with individual pair foil) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 7.5 metre length.

Advantages

S/FTP (PIMF) shielding around each twisted pair plus an overall braid provides high resistance to external EMI and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk, which improves reliability in environments with multiple cables and active equipment. The CAT 6a specification supports 10GBase-T networks and higher frequency operation compared with lower categories, enabling stable high-speed data transfer. The included RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with a wide range of network devices and switches, while the distinctive magenta colour makes cable routing and identification easier in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T Ethernet connections between switches and servers
• High-speed workstations, NAS devices, and media streaming setups
• Structured cabling in office patch panels and data cabinets
• Environments with high electromagnetic interference where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6a
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF) — foil on each pair plus overall braid
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 7.5 m
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router, server or workstation and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the cable is not sharply bent near the plugs to avoid signal degradation. When installing in a rack or along cable trays, route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines where possible to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT 6a S/FTP cable for runs up to its specified length and within environments that benefit from shielded cabling. When connecting to patch panels or keystone jacks, confirm that mating hardware supports shielded connections and equip grounding where necessary to maintain the shielding effectiveness.
