Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77903/3 3 m

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 77903/3 is a 3 m OM3 fibre optic cable with ST connectors on both ends. Designed for multimode networks, this full duplex cable has a 50 µm core diameter that supports high-speed data transmission with low attenuation. The cable's turquoise jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and structured cabling environments, facilitating neat cable management and quick troubleshooting.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode specification and 50 µm core enable reliable short-to-medium range high-bandwidth links suitable for data centers and enterprise networks. Using ST connectors at each end ensures a stable, keyed connection compatible with many legacy and current networking devices. The 3 m length is long enough for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel connections while remaining compact for tidy installations. The colored outer jacket simplifies identification among multiple fibre runs.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels in racks
• Multimode fibre links in data centres and server rooms
• High-speed LAN backbones and equipment interconnects
• Laboratory or testing setups requiring standardized OM3 fibres

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: ST to ST (both ends)
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise

How to use

Connect each ST connector into the corresponding female ST port until the bayonet locks. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to minimize insertion loss; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable with gentle bends above the minimum bend radius and secure it to avoid strain on the connectors. For full duplex operation, verify transmitter and receiver pairs are correctly matched on both ends.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM3 cable in a clean, dry environment. Avoid tight bending and excessive pulling force. Inspect and clean connector endfaces prior to installation to maintain optimal signal performance and reduce the risk of network errors.
