Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS08-42072 10 m Cat8.1 U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-42072 10m Cat8.1 U/FTP networking cable provides a robust physical connection for high-speed Ethernet networks. Built to Cat8.1 specifications with U/FTP shielding, this 10-meter cable supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to maintain reliable contact and reduce signal loss. Its yellow jacket increases visibility for easy identification in crowded cable runs and makes routing simpler in home and office environments.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding around individual pairs reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple network cables or electrical equipment. The Cat8.1 design supports high bandwidth and low latency for demanding applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors promote a stable connection and resist corrosion over time. The 10-meter length provides flexibility for various installation layouts without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• High-speed data centers and server connections within short-to-medium rack distances
• Professional office networks requiring high bandwidth and low interference
• Home networks for 10 Gbit/s or higher LAN segments and media streaming
• Patch panels, switches, and router uplinks in structured cabling systems

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 10 meters
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router, network card or patch panel) and the other end to the corresponding port on the connected device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and tight loops in the cable; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible.

Recommendations

For reliable performance at high speeds, use the cable for point-to-point links within the recommended 10-meter distance and pair it with compatible Cat8-capable hardware. When installing in shared conduits or near power cables, maintain separation or use additional shielding measures to minimize interference. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or corrosion and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
