Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0948.2 2 m LC I-V(ZN) H κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O0948.2 is a 2 m fibre optic cable with LC connectors and OS2 singlemode fibre (9 µm core). It conforms to standards for structured cabling (ISO/IEC 11801) and serves as the shortest link between a passive cabling port and an active network port or as a point-to-point connection between two active ports. The cable's I-V(ZN) H construction offers a balance of durability and flexibility, and the yellow jacket provides clear identification in installations.

Advantages

The LC connector pair and OS2 fibre type support high-speed long-distance transmission with low attenuation. The 2 m length is suitable for typical rack and patch panel connections, while the I-V(ZN) H sheath increases mechanical protection and handling flexibility. Color coding simplifies identification and cable management in network environments.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between patch panels and active equipment in data centres
• Point-to-point links between network devices
• Structured cabling installations compliant with ISO/IEC 11801
• Environments requiring singlemode OS2 performance for long-reach links

How to use

Route the cable between the passive cabling port (for example a patch panel) and the active network port (switch, transceiver) ensuring no excessive bending or tension. Insert LC connectors into compatible LC ports until they click. Verify link status and signal levels after installation. For multiple cables, follow color-coding and labelling practices to maintain clear identification.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre optic cable without sharp bends and avoid pulling on the connectors. Maintain bend radius recommended for singlemode OS2 fibre and keep endfaces clean; use dust caps when idle and inspect/clean connectors before mating.
