Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0948.5 5 m I-V(ZN) H

The EFB Elektronik O0948.5 is a 5 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends, intended for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems. The cable follows common fibre jumper definitions from ISO/IEC 11801 and is built to provide reliable links between passive interfaces and active device ports. Its I‑V(ZN) H construction delivers flexibility and mechanical durability, and the yellow jacket improves visibility in patch panels and cable trays.

Advantages

The LC–LC OM3 cable offers low insertion loss and is compatible with multimode 10/40/100 Gbps networking equipment. Its 5 m length provides a short, direct connection suitable for patching inside racks and between adjacent network devices. The standardized OM3 performance supports multimode laser-optimized transmission, while the I‑V(ZN) H jacket balances flexibility with protection against mechanical stress.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, servers and transceivers
• Short rack-to-rack or rack-to-panel interconnects
• Data centre and enterprise LAN multimode links
• Connections requiring OM3 performance for 10/40/100 Gbps

How to use

Connect each LC connector to the corresponding LC duplex ports on your transceivers, switches or patch panels. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to maintain low loss; use dust caps when not connected. Route the cable without sharp bends, keeping the bend radius within the manufacturer’s recommendations for multimode fibre to avoid increased attenuation or damage.

Recommendations

For best performance, clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to installation and avoid tight bundling or kinking. Use this OM3 LC–LC patchcord for short multimode links inside racks and data centre panels where 10/40/100 Gbps multimode performance is required.
