Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0361.15 15 m LC ST κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O0361.15 is a 15 m OS2 fibre optic cable with LC and ST connectors designed as a patchcord for structured cabling systems. With a 9 µm single-mode core and full duplex capability, this yellow fibre jumper provides a direct link between passive interfaces and active device ports for networking and telecommunication applications.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable conforms to ISO/IEC 11801 standards for structured cabling and uses common connector types (LC and ST) for compatibility with a wide range of equipment. The OS2 single-mode design and 9 µm core diameter support long-distance, high-speed transmission with low attenuation. The 15 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections while the yellow jacket improves identification in cable bundles.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Interconnecting switches, routers and patch panels in data centres
• Connecting telecom equipment and active devices to passive outlets
• Single-mode, long-distance links and high-speed network segments
• Structured cabling installations requiring LC to ST patchcords

How to use

Identify the required ports on your active device and passive outlets, then connect the LC end to an LC-compatible port and the ST end to an ST-compatible port. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to avoid signal loss. Route the cable following your installation’s bend-radius guidelines and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors. For duplex links, confirm proper polarity and channel assignment in your network equipment.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection, avoid tight bends or kinks, and store the cable coiled without sharp loops. Match connector types and verify link parameters after installation to ensure compliance with structured cabling performance requirements.
