Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0361.3 3 m LC ST κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O0361.3 is a 3 m single-mode fibre optic cable with LC and ST connectors, designed for point-to-point and patching applications in telecommunication and data network environments. The cable uses an OS2 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter to support single-mode transmission, enabling long-distance, low-loss optical signal transport. The yellow jacket provides standard colour coding for single-mode installations and helps with quick cable identification in racks and distribution panels.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable supports full duplex communication and delivers stable, low-attenuation performance suitable for high-speed links. The combination of an LC connector at one end and an ST connector at the other allows compatibility between equipment using these common interfaces without additional adapters. The 3 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or device-to-patch panel connections while keeping excess slack manageable. The yellow outer sheath conforms to common colour conventions for single-mode cabling, simplifying cable management and visual identification.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting single-mode network devices in server rooms and data centres
• Connecting patch panels, switches, media converters and transceivers with LC or ST ports
• Short to medium-length fibre patching within telecom closets or distribution frames
• Laboratory or testing setups requiring reliable single-mode links

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: Single-mode (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: ST
• Cable colour: Yellow
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for contamination and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to installation. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle and the ST connector into the ST port, ensuring each connector is fully seated and secured. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. For rack installations, secure the cable with cable management accessories to prevent strain at connector interfaces and to keep patch areas organized.

Recommendations

Use fibre-specific cleaning wipes and visual inspection tools regularly to maintain signal quality. Avoid kinking or tight bending and store spare cable length coiled loosely. When mixing connector types in a network, verify transceiver compatibility and port types to ensure reliable connections between LC and ST interfaces.
