Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών DeLOCK 85083 1m LC κίτρινο

The DeLOCK 85083 is a 1 meter OS2 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends designed for high-performance network connections. With a 9 µm core diameter and yellow outer jacket, the cable provides reliable single-mode transmission with low attenuation and clear identification in patching environments. Its single-sheath construction houses both fibres and a built-in extractor lever facilitates easy removal from high-density panels.

Advantages

The cable combines two conductors under one sheath and one boot to save space in dense cabling runs. LC connectors on both ends deliver compact, standardized interfacing for SFP modules, switches or media converters. The yellow jacket improves visibility while the OS2 single-mode specification and 9 µm core diameter help ensure low signal loss over typical single-mode distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting NICs with SFP modules to switches
• Linking media converters and transceivers
• Data center patch panels and high-density racks
• Single-mode network links requiring compact LC connectors

How to use

Align the LC connectors with the corresponding ports on your devices (SFP modules, switches or media converters) and insert until the connector latches. To remove the cable from high-density panels, use the integrated extractor lever to release the connector smoothly. Avoid bending the cable sharply; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for single-mode fibre to prevent increased attenuation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, handle the fibre with care: keep connector end-faces clean, avoid tight bends and store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Use appropriate cleaning tools before connection and verify links with an optical power meter or network diagnostics after installation.
