Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών BlueOptics InfiniBand 3m LC SC OM2

The BlueOptics InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 3m LC SC OM2 is a 3-metre multimode fibre patch cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand and optical networking connections. It features an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, uses OM2 laser-optimized multimode fibre and supports full duplex communication for bidirectional data transmission. The cable is sheathed in flame-retardant LSZH material and is manufactured and tested to industrial standards to ensure reliable attenuation and return loss performance.

Advantages

This BlueOptics LC–SC OM2 cable offers low attenuation per kilometre and consistently low input loss combined with high return loss, ensuring stable signal transmission across short to medium multimode links. Constructed with branded multimode fibres and precision ceramic ferrules, it provides reliable mechanical durability and up to 1500 mating cycles. The LSZH outer sheath reduces toxic halogen release and smoke in case of fire, and each cable is tested with interferometer and OTDR and supplied with measured input loss and return loss values.

Suitable for

• Connecting InfiniBand equipment and switches where LC to SC multimode links are required
• Patch panel to transceiver or patch panel to patch panel multimode interconnects
• Data centre short-range optical links and server-to-switch connections
• Telecommunications closets and structured cabling with OM2 multimode fibre

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or debris before installation and clean if necessary. Route the 3 m LC–SC OM2 cable following standard bend-radius guidelines to avoid microbending losses and secure with appropriate cable management in racks or panels. Insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port until a positive engagement is felt. Verify full duplex link operation at both ends and confirm optical power and loss using test equipment if required. Store unused connectors with protective caps to maintain endface condition.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short to medium multimode InfiniBand or network links where an LC-to-SC connection and OM2 performance suffices. For longer distances or higher bandwidth requirements consider higher-grade multimode classes (OM3/OM4) or single-mode alternatives. Always follow fibre handling best practices: keep connectors capped when not in use, avoid tight bends, and perform endface inspection and cleaning before mating.
