Καλώδιο FireWire ShiverPeaks 77203 — 6-Pin σε 6-Pin, 3,0 m, 400 MHz

ShiverPeaks 77203 is a FireWire cable with 6-pin to 6-pin connectors and a length of 3.0 m, engineered for standard IEEE 1394 connections at up to 400 MHz. It is intended for linking FireWire-compatible equipment such as external hard drives, audio interfaces and camcorders, enabling high-speed data transmission and device chaining in home, studio or office environments.

Advantages

The cable supports a stable IEEE 1394 connection with 6-pin connectors on both ends, allowing full power and data transfer between devices without separate power adapters. At 3.0 m length it offers extended reach while maintaining the 400 MHz signaling suitable for typical consumer and pro-audio/video devices. The straightforward 6-pin to 6-pin configuration simplifies setup and reduces the need for additional converters or adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting external FireWire hard drives to computers or hubs
• Linking audio interfaces and digital mixers in studio setups
• Connecting camcorders or video recorders to capture devices
• Chaining multiple IEEE 1394 devices for daisy-chain configurations
• Home and small office multimedia data transfer

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6-pin to 6-pin FireWire (IEEE 1394)
• Length: 3.0 m
• Signaling: up to 400 MHz (IEEE 1394 standard speed class)
• Supports combined data and power transfer over FireWire where device design allows
• Cable structure: shielded to reduce interference for audio/video use

How to use

Plug each 6-pin connector into the FireWire port of the devices you intend to connect, ensuring the connector orientation matches the port. When connecting storage or audio equipment, power on both devices after making the physical connection so that the host and peripheral negotiate the link. For daisy-chaining, connect the next device to the available FireWire port on the previous device and repeat the procedure. Observe device-specific guidelines for safe disconnection to avoid data loss when transferring files.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free of excessive electromagnetic interference and avoid sharp bends or kinks to preserve signal integrity. For reliable long-term operation, inspect connectors for cleanliness before connection and route the cable to prevent mechanical strain. If you require higher transfer rates or longer distances, consider alternative interfaces designed for greater bandwidth or signal extension.
