Καλώδιο Ethernet ProXtend CAT6 RJ-45 5 m πράσινο

The ProXtend CAT6 U/UTP CU LSZH Ethernet Cable (5 m) is a high-performance network cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet connections. Constructed with 99.9% pure copper strands and 24 AWG conductors, the cable supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) standards. The outer jacket uses LSZH material to limit smoke and toxic gasses in case of fire, and the green colour makes the cable easy to identify in installations.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT6 cable features U/UTP construction for minimal electromagnetic interference and 50µ"U gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact durability and transmission quality. The cable includes strain relief and a snagless latch protector for secure and durable connections. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE+) and is available in standard lengths for easy integration into existing networks.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Office and home networking between switches, routers, and computers
• PoE+ powered devices such as IP phones and access points
• Structured cabling installations where LSZH jacket is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Conductor: 99.9% pure copper, 24 AWG
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with 50µ"U gold plating
• Standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• PoE support: PoE+
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Green
• Weight: 0.208 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router or computer) and the other to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and use the strain relief when routing the cable to reduce stress on the connector. For structured installations, label both ends and secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories to preserve performance and longevity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When installing in public or enclosed spaces where fire safety is a concern, choose LSZH-specified cabling like this ProXtend CAT6. If PoE+ is used, verify the power budget of connected devices and switches to ensure compatibility.
