VALUE S/FTP (PiMF) Patch Cord Cat.6, 3 m, Grey is a pre-assembled network patch cable designed for wired connections between devices. The cable has screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends, full braid shielding with individually foil-shielded pairs (PiMF), and moulded kink protection for improved durability and flexibility. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PiMF) construction provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The stranded 4-pair conductor and flexible jacket allow for easy routing in confined spaces and narrow bends while the moulded kink protection reduces strain at the plug ends.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home and office networks
• Patch panels and wall sockets in structured cabling installations
• Short-distance links within server racks or patch cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil-shielded pairs, PiMF)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded wire
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: Grey
• Contact mapping: 1:1 per EIA/TIA 568

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plug into the network port of each device until the latch clicks. Ensure the cable is routed without sharp kinks and avoid tight staples or clamps that could compress the jacket. For best signal integrity, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cord for runs up to its specified length (3 m) between endpoints; for longer permanent links consider using certified permanent-link cabling compliant with installation standards.
