VALUE 21.99.1685 Grey 300m Cat6a U/UTP is a 300-meter networking cable designed to meet Cat6a performance requirements. The cable uses an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) core suitable for structured cabling and supports higher data rates with reduced crosstalk compared to lower category cables. Its neutral grey jacket provides a discreet appearance for installations in offices, server rooms, and residential environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a U/UTP cable provides consistent signal integrity over longer runs and is optimized for high-speed Ethernet links. The 300 m drum length minimizes joins in long installations and simplifies deployment across floors or between equipment racks. The grey outer jacket is durable and resistant to everyday handling during installation, offering a professional look without attracting attention.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks in commercial or home environments
• Structured cabling for office floors and data closets
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels, and servers
• Long horizontal cable runs where single-reel lengths are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Length: 300 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall, twisted pair unshielded)
• Conductor type: solid copper conductors (single-wire per conductor)
• Jacket color: grey
• Application: designed for 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T applications

How to use

Measure the required run and unspool the cable from the drum to avoid kinks or twists. Terminate the cable ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or use punch-down keystone jacks according to standard T568A/T568B wiring schemes. Follow standard practices for bend radius and separation from power lines to maintain signal performance. Use proper cable management such as trays, ties, and patch panels to ensure reliable long-term operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain recommended bend radius and avoid parallel runs with high-voltage cabling. Test installed links with a certified cable tester to verify continuity and performance for Cat6a-rated deployments.
