The Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH-0,5 is a 0.5 m grey networking patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in office and control cabinet environments. Constructed from low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) material, the cable reduces harmful emissions in case of fire and is suitable for areas with protection class IP20. Telegärtner offers this cable type in various categories, colours and lengths to match specific installation requirements.

Advantages

The cable meets or exceeds transmission requirements for channel classes defined in ISO/IEC 11801 (2nd edition) when used with the corresponding category bulk cables, for example Cat.7 achieving Channel Class E characteristics. It includes an integrated latch protection and a moulded strain relief for increased mechanical robustness and secure connector retention. The LSZH jacket provides improved safety in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Office network patching and rack connections
• Control cabinets and installations with IP20 protection
• Gigabit Ethernet and Class D/E channel applications

Key specifications

• Brand: Telegärtner

How to use

Connect one end of the patch cable to the network port on the device or patch panel and the other end to the corresponding switch, router or socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; the moulded strain relief reduces strain at the connector but do not apply excessive force. Use appropriate cable management in racks and cabinets to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For Gigabit Ethernet and future-proof channel installations, select the cable category that matches your system requirements (for example Cat.5e for Class D or Cat.7 for Class E) and verify compatibility with existing bulk cabling and certified channel specifications.
