Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 20m κόκκινο

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 20m Red networking cable is a 20‑metre Category 6 cable designed for wired network and internet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ‑45 connectors with gold‑plated contacts for stable electrical contact and consistent data transmission. The cable’s red jacket provides easy visual identification in patching environments and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to improve resistance to crosstalk and external interference, supporting reliable gigabit and near‑gigabit data rates. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and improved conductivity over time, while the 20 m length covers longer distances without additional couplers. The cable conforms to Cat6 performance characteristics for bandwidth and signal integrity within its specified range.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections between switches, routers and endpoints
• High‑speed internet access in homes and offices
• Patch panel and structured cabling runs in server rooms
• IP camera or VoIP phone connections where interference protection is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6, supporting up to 250 MHz bandwidth
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 on both ends with gold‑plated contacts
• Length: 20 metres
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper construction suitable for flexible patching (verify installation type)
• Outer jacket color: red for easy identification

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network port on your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the target device such as a PC, NAS, IP camera or VoIP phone. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain appropriate bend radius and avoid stretching the jacket. For permanent in‑wall installations, confirm the cable construction (solid vs. stranded) matches local building and fire safety requirements.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within typical Cat6 distance limits for the intended data rate, avoid running parallel to high‑voltage power lines, and label each end for easier maintenance. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and replace if contacts show signs of corrosion or damage.
